What Is Two-Factor Authentication?
Two-factor authentication adds a second layer of protection to your account. In addition to your password, logging in requires a time-based code from an authenticator app on your phone. Even if someone were to learn your password, they could not access your account without this second factor.
Why You Should Enable It
Passwords alone are increasingly vulnerable. 2FA dramatically reduces the risk of unauthorised access, protecting your private conversations, your personal details, and the integrity of your matrimonial search. For an account as personal as this, the extra protection is well worth the small effort.
How to Enable 2FA
- Install an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator or Authy on your phone
- Go to Dashboard → Security (or the Security screen in the mobile app)
- Tap "Enable Two-Factor Authentication" and scan the QR code with your authenticator app
- Enter the code shown in the app to confirm — and you are protected
Keep Your Backup Safe
When you enable 2FA, store your setup key in a safe place. If you lose access to your authenticator app, you will need it — or our support team's assistance — to regain access to your account.
